Refunds

You pay for the video you get and nothing more. Here is exactly how that works.
How a video is charged
When you press Create, Stillscope holds an estimate from your balance — a little more than the expected cost, so a video that runs slightly long still fits. When the video is ready you are charged for its actual finished length at the rate shown when you created it, plus the format’s per-video charge if it has one (also shown before you create), and the rest of the hold goes straight back to your balance.
If a video doesn’t finish
If a video fails, or you cancel it, it costs nothing — no per-video charge either: the whole hold comes back to your balance automatically, and the video’s card says it didn’t finish. You can try it again, and a retry reuses the narration that was already made, so it isn’t recorded twice.
Unused credits
Credits you’ve added stay in your balance until you spend them. Closing your account doesn’t turn them back into money.
If we ever stop offering Stillscope altogether, we will tell you in advance and refund the credits you paid for and haven’t used.
Buying credits
You buy credits in packs from the Credits page in your account. Prices are in US dollars, and sales tax or VAT may be added at checkout, depending on where you live. Payments are processed by our payment provider, Whop, so your receipt comes from Whop and the charge on your card or bank statement may show Whop’s name.
Credits normally arrive within a few minutes of paying. If they haven’t arrived after 15 minutes, or a payment goes wrong in any other way, contact us and we’ll put it right.
A charge that looks wrong
Every video shows what was held, what was charged and what came back. If a charge doesn’t match the video you got, email us with the video’s title and we’ll check it against our records.
Refunds and disputes
To ask for a refund, email support@stillscope.com from the address on your receipt. Refunds are made through Whop, back to the way you paid. If you paid and the credits never arrived, we’ll add them or refund you in full.
Please contact us before disputing a charge with your bank: it’s faster for you. If a payment is refunded or disputed, the credits it bought are removed from your balance. If some of them were already used, your balance can go below zero, and new videos pause until it’s settled.
Your rights under the law
Nothing on this page takes away a right the law gives you. If you buy credits as a consumer and the law where you live lets you cancel the purchase — in the European Union and the United Kingdom, for example, you can usually cancel within 14 days of buying and get back the part you haven’t used — email us and we will refund it.
